Richard Hogan is a Manager of Clinical Studies & Method Development for the Colgate-Palmolive company. Based at the Colgate-Palmolive Dental Health Unit, a unique, 50-year collaboration between the University of Manchester, England and Colgate-Palmolive, Hogan research interests focus on diagnostic technologies and their employment in clinical research and practice.
After graduating with Honours from the University of Glasgow, Scotland, Richard worked as a general dental practitioner for NHS Scotland. In 2015, Hogan assumed a Clinical Research post with the University of Manchester, enrolling concurrently on the Dental Public Health Doctoral programme and gained his Membership of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow soon after.
Hogan assumed his current post in 2017 and works internationally on a range of research initiatives, regularly partnering with external organisations.
