Maisa Omara, studied Dental and Oral Medicine and Surgery at Cairo University in Egypt, there she obtained her master’s degree in Dental Public Health. Later she had a diploma in applied epidemiology from the Field epidemiology training program (FETP) with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Atlanta, USA. She also worked as a trainer in the same program. Currently Dr. Omara is a researcher at the Ludwig Boltzmann Cluster for Arthritis and Rehabilitation, and working at the Institute for Outcomes Research, CeMSIIS, Medical University of Vienna where she is also enrolled in the PhD program for public health. In addition she is working as a temporary consultant for the World Health Organization (WHO).
