Mihnea Ioan Nicolescu (MD, DMD, OMS, PhD) graduated both Dental Medicine Faculty (2003) and Medicine Faculty (2006). Although having a specialist degree in Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery (2009), Dr. Nicolescu has dedicated his time to research in the field of cellular and molecular medicine. He is currently the Chair of Histology Department at the Faculty of Dental Medicine, as well as a researcher in the Radiobiology Lab at the National Institute of Pathology. He started-up the first Romanian Module of Regenerative Dentistry for 5th year dental students. Current scientific interest: regeneration of salivary glands.
